Lancôme Absolue The Eye Cream

Lancôme Absolute The Eye Cream - it’s probably the most expensive eye cream I’ve tried so far. It smells and feels very luxurious. The consistency is buttery smooth and it’s more on the thicker side. It leaves the under-eye area intensely hydrated and luminous. It doesn’t really absorb at all, or it could be because of my oily skin type. I think it would work great for those whose skin type is dry. It does feel different compared to regular eye cream, I just don’t feel that I need to use it yet as it’s intended mainly for mature skin.

Nest Crème de Clementine Eau de Parfum

Nest Crème de Clementine Eau de Parfum - a very simple scent that only got two notes in the pyramid: clementine and vanilla. It opens up with a sweet, freshly peeled clementine, very realistic and juicy. But after drying down, it’s nothing but a gourmand vanilla. It’s like a sweet orange cream in a fragrance form. It smells delicious, but I am not a big fan of “edible” scents to be used as a personal perfume. I would love my skincare, like hand cream or body lotion, to smell like this, but as a perfume, it’s a no for me.

OLEHENRIKSEN Banana Bright Eye Cream

Olehenriksen  Banana Bright Eye Cream - eye cream with vitamin C that is supposed to brighten the under-eye area, visibly diminish dark circles, and improve concealer application and wear. It states to be fragrance-free, but I can’t say it’s true, there is a typical scent that all products that contain vitamin C have, and it’s not so pleasant to me. In terms of effect, it is very hydrating and brightening. I used it in my morning and nighttime skincare routine. I didn’t notice any significant improvement, but it worked well as an everyday eye cream. I probably wouldn’t buy a full size because of the smell, and I don’t use vitamin C products regularly, but I would recommend trying a sample before investing in a full size to see how it works for you😉

Blithe Patting Splash Mask Energy Yellow Citrus And Honey

Blithe Patting Splash Mask Energy Yellow Citrus And Honey - my favorite mild exfoliator for cold season! I like using it in the shower. After cleansing, I pour a small amount onto my palms and then apply it to my face while it’s still wet. Wait 1 minute, then rinse with water. After 1 week of using it daily, I already see the difference - skin becomes smoother, brighter, and clearer. Skin tone is more even. And the best part, this effect lasts for about 1 month! So approximately, I use this mask for 1 week each month. This is definitely one of the best skincare products for me, and I will continue repurchasing it!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze Brow Styling Wax

Anastasia Beverly Hills BROW FREEZE Brow Styling Wax - I received this brow gel in the Sephora Favorites set. After using it for a while, I think it is more suitable for professional use. It’s best to be applied using a clean brush every time or use a spatula to scoop it first, then distribute using a brush. If you try to use the same brush over and over again, it gets too messy and difficult to apply. I also found it’s not easy to control the amount every time I dip the brush in the gel. If it’s too much, it ends up looking white and clumpy. It’s simply too much effort for a regular daily makeup look. It’s not travel-friendly to me either. It does give a laminated effect, lifting brow hairs and keeping them in place, but I still prefer regular tube brow gels better.
