Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask in a limited-edition Mango flavor - my favorite so far! This flavor smells very juicy and feels moisturizing on lips, I wish it’s permanent!

Berry - review
Gummy Bear - this mask smells very yummy, but it’s not very suitable to use overnight as it got a light purple tint and it leaves stains on bed sheet and pillow. Also I found this flavor not to be very moisturizing, I always have to reapply or apply a generous amount so my lips don’t feel dry.
Mango - my favorite flavor so far! It smells like juicy mango and feels moisturizing!

Colourpop Jelly Much Shadow Boo-Kay - photos and swatches

Colourpop Jelly Much Shadow - cream eyeshadow with soft mousse texture. Shade Boo-Kay is light lavender pink.

I was very curious to try this Jelly Much eyeshadow from Colourpop. But it didn’t really work for me. The consistency is not like regular cream shadows. It can be patchy and difficult to layer. Even when it was new I couldn’t get an even application. Because one layer is not enough, and if add more, it starts to look thick and emphasize skin texture. Shade Boo-Kay looks beautiful on swatches but on eyes it’s pale and nothing special, there is no glow to it.

I read in review that this eyeshadow dries out quickly. Mine didn’t get dry too quickly, but after about a year, I noticed that it’s not soft anymore. I saw people recommending adding a little bit of water to revive it, so I tried this trick, and it worked! First 2 swatches are of dried out eyeshadow, third swatch is after adding water. It still performs like new and the lasting power is the same. So if you get this eyeshadow and worry about it getting dry, just try adding a little bit of water and it will be like new again.

Nevertheless, I’m not impressed, and won’t be buying any more shades, but I’m still glad I tried it.

Tanologist Face and Body Self Tan Drops

I like the idea of this kind of self tanner - you just add a few drops to your moisturizer, mix thoroughly, then apply to skin. After a few times of using this product, you will see how many drops are enough for certain areas. If I use these drops on my face, I can see a light tan developing the next morning. For body it takes about 2-3 days, depends on how much you apply. It can be streaky if you don’t mix thoroughly. I still like to use a self tanner applicator mitt to apply it. Also another good thing - I never see it transfers on anything. And what about a typical self tanner smell? At first there is non. Later on, it slowly starts appearing. If you applied these drops on your face, then you will feel the smell stronger. If applied on body, it’s lighter, but still noticeable. It fades away later, luckily. All in all, I like these Tanologist self tan drops, and would sure recommend giving it a try!

Moroccanoil Night Body Serum sample that I received complimentary from PINCHMe - this is a luxurious body serum that supposed to firm and smooth the skin overnight. First of all, it got a signature Moroccanoil scent, which I love. The serum itself feels lightweight and non-sticky, it also seems more siliconey than oily. It does moisturize skin and leaves it smooth, but would it make skin firmer? I don’t think so. But I only got a deluxe sample bottle. I think it’s great as a moisturizer, but I wouldn’t expect any other effect.

Dime Super Firm Serum

Dime Super Firm Serum - I received this deluxe sample as a gift with purchase. This is a fast absorbing serum with light but nourishing consistency. It does feels firming upon applying, and it leaves skin feeling moisturized. But other than that, I didn’t notice any significant difference, so I don’t be purchasing a full size.
