⏪Reviews and swatches of my current foundations⏩
No.7 Lift & Luminate Triple Action Serum Foundation
- The shade 'Calico' is not lightest. I usually get porcelain/ivory foundation shade, so this one is a little dark for me. But after you apply it, it seems that this foundation can adjust to your skin tone, so the difference is not that noticable😊
- It leaves a sticky feeling, so you will might want to set it with a powder.
- It's very moisturizing, and it will also work good on normal or dry skin.
- It conceals large pores, evens out skin tone and it is invisible on the skin.
- Overall I like this foundation, and I would love to try other No.7 foundations as well👍
Catrice HD Liquid Coverage Foundation
- This foundation really feels and gives a feeling of a 'second skin' - it's blending into the skin perfectly👐
- I found it applys best with a wet foundation sponge.
- It covers up blemishes, pores, evens out and blurs skin tone.
- It provides a matte finish, so I suggest no to apply it close to undereye, as it can make it look dry and emphasize fine lines.
- It doesn't leave any stickiness and it is long lasting👍
Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-In-Place Makeup
- It wasn't my favorite foundation at the beginnig. I have large pores on my T-zone, and every time I applied this foundation, it emphasized all the pores so bad, and made them even more visible. I found the same effect with Maybelline Fit Me foundation, so I assumed that if a foundation is based on alcohol, when you can obviously smell it, it will sink into my pores and make them stand out.
- I tried different ways of applying this Estee Lauder foundation, so the best one so far for me is a wet foundation sponge. This way it covers up pores better. But if don't look at the T-zone, everywhere else this foundation lays on beautifully:) So if you don't have large pores, you might love it right away😉
- It is long lasting. The finish of it is 'powder' and satin at the same time, or 'not too matte and not too dewy'👍
- The shade 1N2 'Ecru' is not the lightest, so if you are porcelain/fair skin tone, you would need a different ligher shade.
- It's better to moisturize your face very good before applying this foundation, and avoid undereye area😊
Revlon Colorstay Foundation for Combination/Oily Skin
- I got 2 shades: 'Ivory' and 'Buff'. 'Ivory' is very light for me and have a pink undertone. I can't use it even during winter, so I'm planning to mix with darker tone foundations to lighten them up.
- Shade 'Buff' has a neutral undertone and it matches my skin tone much better😊
- This foundation looks beautiful on the skin and even visibly blurs it.
- It conceals large pores and other imperfections.
- It doesnt have any alcohol smell, though it's intended for oily skin, and it even looks good if applied on undereye area!
- It is one of my favorites and I highly recommend it!😍
Maybelline Fit Me Matte+Poreless Foundation
- As I've already mentioned, this foundation, just like Estee Lauder one, emphasizes my pores and sinks into them. The only way to make it look decent is to apply it with a wet foundation sponge.
- The shade 'Porcelain' is VERY light, and I can only use it mixed with other darker foundation shade.
- The finish of it is pure matte, it makes fine lines more visible on any area, so you should definetly avoid the undereye area.
- It evens out skin tone good, doesn't leave any sticky feeling.
- Overall it's a decent foundation for oily skin, if you don't have large pores, a lot of fine lines, it might work good on you:)
L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation
- The shade 'Classic Ivory' is, again, too light for me:)
- I like that it's meant for oily skin and it doesn't smell like alcohol.
- The finish is matte and comfortable.
- It's invisible on the skin, and it conceals pores pretty good.
- For some reasons it doesn't cover up blemishes, but you can use a concealer for that.
- Overall I like this foundation, if skip the fact that it's too light for me:)
Thank you for reading❤❤❤
