Favorite makeup products from Catrice Cosmetics + Swatches

In this post I want to share my favorite makeup products from Catrice Cosmetics that are currently available on their website. I also own (and loooove!) some makeup from the Liquid Metal Collection, such as eye pencils and eyeshadows, but that collection is not available anymore.

Catrice Art Couleurs Eyeshadow in 060 ‘Gold Is What You Came For’
Champagne color eyeshadow that gives a subtle beautiful glow to inner corner of your eyes, brow bone or could be used as a face highlighter as well!

Catrice Prizma Lip Glaze in 050 ‘Holy Moly!’
Being a big fan of lip glosses I could not pass on this beautiful duo-chrome lip gloss! I like all of the shades, but currently got only this one. This shade is clear and super shiny with lots of blue and pink sparkles, it is also long lasting, moisturizing and makes your lips pop! And do you see that highlight on my cupid’s bow?😉 I didn’t add any highlighter, the lip gloss made that glow!😍

Catrice Liquid Camouflage Cream and High Coverage Concealer and Catrice HD Liquid Coverage Foundation
These three products are my absolute must-haves! I think that everybody who got oily/combination skin need to try this foundation. It really feels like second skin, got matte finish and looks beautiful on the skin overall. The concealers I like to use to cover up blemishes or post-acne😊

Skincare Products From The Body Shop: Recent Haul And Must-Haves!

Review of some of the The Body Shop products from my recent haul, plus all-time favorites and must-haves!
A couple of months ago during holiday sales I got a few skin and body care products, all were in mini sizes as I was trying them for the first time😉

The Body Shop ‘Coconut’ shower cream – the coconut smell is amazing, however the consistency seems too watery to me, I would prefer it to be a little thicker.
The Body Shop ‘Satsuma’ Gel-Lotion – I like this body lotion, it smells like citrus, absorbs instantly, leaves skin smooth with no sticky feeling.

The Body Shop ‘British Rose’ Instant Glow Body Butter – this body butter leaves my skin feeling a little sticky, but I loooove the smell of it!
The Body Shop ‘Strawberry’ Body Butter – it smells more of like a strawberry with milk to me, and I didn’t like how it feels on my body, it doesn’t absorb at all, feels sticky and when I take shower at night, I feel how I'm washing it off. But I’ve found another way to use this butter – overnight hand mask! It heals dry hand skin just in a matter of a few hours😊

The Body Shop ‘Pink Grapefruit’ hand cream – this hand cream got a strong real smell of grapefruit, because of that I can’t use it on my hands, but it works good as a lotion for my legs😊

The Body Shop ‘Seaweed’ Oil-Control Gel Cream – I loved this face cream after the first time I tried it! It works great on my oily skin, it’s not drying at all, not tacky, and it makes a good base for makeup! Definitely a must-have!❤

The Body Shop Tea Tree collection
These are my another must-haves for oily skin!

The Body Shop ‘Tea Tree’ Skin Clearing Facial Wash – first step to matte and acne-free skin in every day routine.
The Body Shop ‘Tea Tree’ Mattifying Lotion – my absolute must-have! I’ve used up 2 of it already and got another one for upcoming summer! This face lotion keeps my face oil-free, makes a good makeup base and it even feels good and moisturizing on under eye area!
The Body Shop ‘Tea Tree’ Skin Clearing Mattifying Toner – strong mattifying toner that I use 1-2 times a week or as a spot treatment.

Must-have skin care tools

The Body Shop Facial Buffer – gentle exfoliating sponge, I like using it with a fine face scrub or any regular face wash 1-2 times a week.
The Body Shop Facial Massager – I usually use it at night after applying a night cream or a sheet mask for the better absorption of a product, it stimulates blood circulation, ensures more toned, firm and young looking skin!😉

St.Ives Apricot, Green Tea and Oatmeal Scrubs - comparison and ways to use

I’ve heard many good things about scrubs from St.Ives and one day I decided to finally try them. Of course, first of all I got the St.Ives Apricot Scrub,  then other two caught my eyes at the store, since I am always curious about new products👀

St.Ives Apricot Scrub does a very nice deep cleansing and leaves my skin feeling fully clean and exfoliated. I usually use it 1-2 times a week.

St.Ives Green Tea Scrub got smaller beads, so it wouldn’t exfoliate much, and overall it feels lighter on the skin. I like using this scrub as a regular face wash in my night time skincare routine, especially on the days I wear makeup, to ensure all makeup is removed. It still does good cleansing and doesn’t dry out skin.

St.Ives Oatmeal Scrub + Mask is a product that you can use in two different ways. First I tried to use it as a scrub, but it got a very thick creamy consistency, so I thought that no, it’s definitely going to be a face mask for me. Next time I applied it as a mask for about 10 minutes, then removed it with cellulose face sponge. This way I sure liked more, it left my skin feeling soothed, smooth and soft.

Overall, I like all three scrubs, if you are looking for some good and affordable exfoliator, you should definitely try St.Ives scrubs, whether you want deep or light exfoliator, there is a St.Ives product that will suit your needs😉
